News From The Course Manager


Trevose is fortunate to have a talented, passionate team of greenkeeping staff, led by Course Manager Jonathan Wood.

Jonathan has an impressive Links background, having previously worked as 1stAssistant Greenkeeper at Portmarnock Links Golf Club before spending the past 5 years as Deputy Course Manager at The Old Course, St.Andrew’s – where he was also involved in the course preparation for The Open Championship in 2010.  Prior to this he worked at the Forest of Arden, Pinehurst and Doonbeg Golf Club.

Under his leadership and tutorage the team hope to provide you with the best possible 'Links' experience. As with any golf course there are, from time to time changes that need to be made, and maintenance programs that need to be put in place. In order to minimise any inconvenience or, worse still, any unwelcome surprises all current and future plans for proposed improvements and maintenance will be posted in Course Notices.
